Reliable Robotics develops automation technology for aircraft, focusing on making flying safer, more accessible, and affordable through autonomous operations. Their systems are designed for both cargo operators and passenger airlines, specifically targeting small (Part 23) and larger (Part 25) aircraft. The company emphasizes a "certification forward" approach, ensuring that their automated systems meet regulatory standards early in development, which enhances safety and reliability. They have successfully demonstrated fully automated operations for small aircraft and are working on commercializing this technology for broader use. Reliable Robotics generates revenue by selling or licensing their automation systems and may also provide maintenance and support services. Led by co-founder and CEO Robert W. Rose, who has a strong background in aerospace and robotics, the company aims to significantly impact the aviation industry by improving the efficiency and safety of air travel.
