Requirements
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in facilities management, workplace services, or workplace operations, ideally within a corporate or multi-site environment.
  • Experience working with an outsourced Integrated Facilities Management provider or other third-party service partners.
  • Experience working across EMEA, with an understanding of the operational, cultural, and regulatory differences involved in supporting multiple countries and office locations.
  • Strong knowledge in one or more Workplace Services areas, with broader experience across facilities, food and beverage, front-of-house, events, building operations or employee experience.
  • Proven ability to independently deliver moderately complex operational workstreams or mid-sized projects from planning through to completion.
  • Experience coordinating multiple vendors, service lines, or workplace programs and supporting performance reviews, issue resolution, and service improvement.
  • Strong operational judgment, with the ability to assess issues, anticipate risks, recommend solutions, and recognize when escalation is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear office-wide communications, operational documentation, and vendor correspondence.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of building maintenance, planned and reactive services, health and safety, compliance, and issue triage.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and align different stakeholder needs.
  • Experience supporting operational budgets, forecasting requirements, and making recommendations that balance cost, quality, risk, and employee experience.
  • A customer-focused, proactive, and accountable approach, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
  • Confidence using workplace technology, reporting tools, and AI to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members to a high standard.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver a consistent workplace experience for employees, visitors, and stakeholders.
  • Work with JLL and other service partners to support day-to-day delivery across facilities, food and beverage, front-of-house, post room, office supplies, and maintenance services.
  • Monitor service delivery, identify issues or improvement opportunities, and support timely resolution through appropriate internal and external partners.
  • Develop and maintain scalable operational processes, standards, and playbooks, including planned and reactive maintenance programs.
  • Independently deliver moderately complex workplace projects and operational workstreams involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, or locations.
  • Anticipate potential blockers, assess risks, and recommend practical solutions to maintain service continuity and progress.
  • Build relationships across People, IT, Finance, Security, Procurement, Property Management, Executive Assistants, and business leadership.
  • Support vendor performance, operational budgets, and resource planning while identifying opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, risk management, and value.
  • Use operational data, employee feedback, and judgment to identify trends, improve processes, and support informed decision-making.
  • Apply AI tools to streamline workplace processes, improve reporting, and enhance efficiency across moderately complex tasks; experiment with approaches and share practical learnings with teammates.
  • Support special projects and global initiatives as part of the wider Real Estate and Workplace team.

Databricks hires ex-AWS executive to lead Asia partners amid 85% growth

Databricks has appointed former Amazon Web Services executive Briscoe to lead its Asia Pacific & Japan partner organisation. She previously headed AWS's partner operations in the region and held similar roles at Microsoft and Cisco. The move supports Databricks' regional expansion. In April, the company named Simon Davies as regional leader and reported over 85% year-on-year growth in its fourth quarter. It now has more than 1,500 employees across Asia Pacific & Japan and plans to establish headquarters in Singapore. Databricks works with over 1,000 partners regionally and 8,000 globally through its Brickbuilder Partner Network. The company's AWS business has surpassed a $1 billion run rate. Coatue leads $3B Databricks investment at $134B valuation

Coatue Management is reportedly leading a $3 billion investment in Databricks, according to recent reports. The data analytics company previously raised roughly $5 billion earlier in 2026 at a $134 billion valuation. Databricks sells a lakehouse platform combining data lake and data warehouse capabilities and has expanded into AI software for enterprise applications. The company reported $5.4 billion in revenue run rate in February, up over 65% year on year, which grew to $6.9 billion by June. The earlier financing round included $2 billion in debt capacity intended to fund AI products, acquisitions and employee liquidity. At its current valuation, Databricks exceeds Snowflake's market capitalisation of approximately $83 billion. Management has indicated the company may remain private until market conditions improve.
