Requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • BS/BA degree in Architecture, engineering, construction management, construction engineering, electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering
  • Problem-solving strategies and conflict resolution skills
  • Well organized and possesses the ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of building systems, construction techniques, and construction cost documentation
  • Knowledge of construction cost estimating, and experience using Marshall & Swift Valuation Service and R.S. Means
  • General understanding of Federal tax law relating to fixed assets and depreciation
  • Work with clients to procure data related to acquisition or construction
  • Analyze construction cost documents
  • Develop and review quantity takeoffs from blueprints
  • Review estimates developed from costing manuals such as RS Means and Marshall Valuation
  • Perform and supervise physical site inspections
  • Prepare and review reports and prepare schedules that support findings from analysis
  • Basic understanding of real estate appraisals and valuation studies
  • Familiarity with construction design and construction processes
  • Supervise, train and develop staff

  • Conduct analysis for real property and building improvements
  • Take care of the clients and work on growing the business
  • Guide and support a group of talented staff
  • Work face-to-face with clients and advise them on the use of cost segregation studies
  • Contribute to engagement team's professional growth and develop leadership skills
