- Prior work history supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), and/or the healthcare industry
- Documented success leading projects
- Enthusiasm for taking on managerial duties
- Keen interest in healthcare projects
- Experience and success in mentoring and guiding team members toward achieving common goals
- Demonstrated experience developing briefings and reports, facilitating working sessions, and presenting to diverse stakeholder audiences
- Demonstrated experience producing project management artifacts
- Ability to think about projects holistically to identify next steps and courses of action that will support the client’s goals
- Agility and ability to change course based on shifting plans, priorities, and timelines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Serve as a senior-level resource on multiple projects providing guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior team members
- Lead a variety of projects and workstreams, shifting efforts according to changing business needs
- Provide thought leadership on project approaches and potential areas of support, translating client goals into actionable steps
- Learn business processes, systems, and goals to develop a deep understanding of the client environment
- Collaborate with a variety of teams, including technical resources, end user groups, and stakeholders to define, analyze and document business requirements, processes, and workflows
- Present compelling and polished presentations to front office executive staff and/or business teams
- Develop and deliver presentations and reports to leadership and cross functional business/technical teams covering project status, risks, issues, and strategies
- Conduct analysis of specific issues and identification of alternatives
- Compile project-related metrics and track applicable implementation and/or deployment task activities for reporting to leadership
- Develop and maintain project management artifacts such as project management plans, process flows, meeting minutes, action item logs, risk registers, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Capture spoken information in real-time in documents and spreadsheets (e.g., live edits to documents, capture of questions and answers during presentations, etc.)
