Requirements
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics or related field is preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills – working with high volumes of data
  • Accounting & Audit background advantageous
  • Systems background highly advantageous (Oracle / Netsuite)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) with the ability to present to stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to work under pressure, to react fast to changes & meet tight deadlines
  • Results focused with confidence to take actions using initiative

Responsibilities
  • Production of management accounts including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and supporting schedules
  • Completion, review and analysis of balance sheet schedules
  • Production of sales analysis and gross margin reporting by customer/channels
  • Monitoring and improving internal controls for compliance with company policy
  • Assisting with managing working capital to optimise cash flow
  • Support with accurate reporting of operational costs including monitoring KPIs, explaining variances and providing recommendations for cost savings
  • Distributing financial reports on overheads with supporting metrics to provide department owners and leadership visibility
  • Perform analytical reviews of financial information to identify trends and opportunities. Provide recommendations to drive cost efficiencies in balance with operational needs and capabilities
  • Preparing cost assessments for new projects including tracking and analysing spend
  • Assist with annual audit, preparation of statutory accounts and tax planning / compliance activities
  • Assist with the implementation of a new large scale global ERP implementation
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties defined by the Company to ensure business objectives / requirements are met
  • Respect the value of information by following Likewize's data protection / information security policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in a distribution and or insurance industry would be advantageous.
