Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to join our diverse and discerning finance and accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, you will have unlimited opportunities to improve processes and controls; as well as drive efficiencies throughout the Accounting Daily and Month End close and reporting processes. What You’ll Do:
- Establish a standard and efficient accounting close and reporting process
- Create month-end reporting templates for review and analysis with Finance team and Controller
- Document, maintain, and update accounting policies and processes as the company grows
- Support extended accounting team by digging in when help is needed and reassigning tasks and responsibilities between various team members based on workload
- Drive process improvement by consistently identifying challenges and bringing solutions
- Support ERP implementation project
What You’ll Bring:
- 6+ years experience in accounting; 3+ years experience managing people
- Deep understanding of US GAAP requirements and internal controls and documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, multi-tasking, and analytical skills
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions when required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot when priorities shift
- Experience with ERP systems
