Requirements
  • Significant experience with security products or fire alarm solutions.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience in the low voltage construction industry, ideally with fire alarm or security experience.
  • Ability to construct structured cabling, security, fire alarm, or other low voltage systems.
  • Basic understanding of construction costs, accounting, scheduling, estimating, and engineering principles and techniques.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel computer skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Bluebeam software.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the company representative on project teams and provide management oversight for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate field labor, materials, and equipment to ensure work proceeds on schedule and within budget.
  • Serve as the main contact for customers, including general contractors and owners, and interact with them regularly to support satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Use available company resources to meet project goals.
  • Meet or exceed established annual revenue expectations.
  • Review contracts and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate, current, and complete records for assigned projects to document project and team progress and results.
  • Develop baseline project schedules reflecting labor, material, equipment, subcontract time requirements, and project constraints.
  • Measure baseline schedules against actual progress and implement corrective action when necessary.
  • Expedite, negotiate, and approve project changes.
  • Approve decisions concerning project cost, time, and performance against agreed baseline plan requirements.
  • Report project financials weekly and ensure projects remain under budget and on time.
