Responsibilities
  • Assigning, supervising, and evaluating Clearance Administrators in the conduct of investigations
  • Providing technical assistance in reviewing, interpreting, and reporting clearance results
  • Maintaining confidential records for all investigations performed
  • Performing quality assurance review of Clearance Administrators' processing of investigations
  • Conducting special investigations of greater complexity or hazard
  • Reviewing and issuing approval or denial of clearance requests
  • Collecting and compiling performance data on investigations
