  • 5+ years of pre-sales leadership experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in a technical sales role
  • Track record of building and leading solution architecture/engineering teams
  • Payments experience preferred
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and passion for customer success
  • Previous technical sales experience with API’s, distributed systems, databases, and/or developer tools
  • Strong understanding of CX experiences, enterprise systems, middleware, etc.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
  • Ability to travel per business needs
Responsibilities
  • Partner and drive GEO, Regional, Account strategy and execution plan
  • Recruit, hire, lead, retain, and coach a presales team
  • Nurture positive outlook and growth mindset in the team
  • Develop joint go-to-market initiatives with Sales, Marketing, and Technical Teams
  • Lead executive engagements and establish relationships with key decision makers
  • Facilitate customer meetings, drive collaboration, and support the team in evaluations
  • Build processes to measure team performance and impact
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitive dynamics
  • Represent Stripe at industry events and conferences
  • Champion the voice of users and customers to influence product direction
  • Act as an escalation point for technical issues
  • Approximately 25% travel anticipated
