Requirements
  • You are based in/near London and are happy to come into the office a few days a week
  • 7+ years of experience in a People Partnering, People Development, HR Management role
  • Experience leading and coaching a team of high performing People Partners, or other People Team functions
  • A fast-paced leader - Experience working in a fast-growth start-up as a Head of People Partnering/HR. You know how start-ups tick, and how People strategies and structure can and should be implemented in a scaling product-first tech company
  • Truly passionate about the subject matter of People, the tech start-up landscape, and trends
  • Aspires to be a true thought leader, and will inspire and build communities inside and outside Cleo
  • Expert at stakeholder management - when rolling out new initiatives or implementing change management, you are skilled at managing stakeholders and getting the leadership team alignment. This includes being adept at developing a communication strategy, the cadence of information sharing, and determining who needs to know what when
  • Subject matter expertise - depth of knowledge across the broad scope of People Partnering verticals (including the latest trends in Employment Relations, Total Compensation & Equity Management, Performance Enablement, Talent Development), and experience conceptualising, delivering and maintaining effective People Partnering services in complex and diverse environments
  • Ability to handle ER cases and escalate and quickly resolve more complex cases is crucial
  • Project management - you are comfortable with owning, designing and executing large projects / programs with measurable impact
  • OKR Experience desirable
Responsibilities
  • Drive the delivery of our priority people projects and work to continually embed and improve Cleo's performance management, people success, and reward programs
  • Be a hands-on People Partner, with a focus on senior leadership, supporting, coaching and guiding them on all People (ER) related matters, advising and proactively anticipating their People needs. This includes holding regular 1:1s and bringing useful people data to the table to inform/drive action
  • Be a beacon of enablement for your team - as a direct manager of the BP team, you will be expected to actively coach and develop the BPs in their professional toolkit, best practices and business acumen to achieve their full potential and nurture constant professional growth
  • Use data to inform everyday people partnering decisions and share meaningful data-driven insights with the senior leadership team to enable improved decision making on all things People
  • Collaborate with the wider teams to design, develop and drive talent management strategies and structure
  • Design and deliver key training for first-time, as well as experienced, managers, covering areas such as OKR setting, expectations, goal setting, mentoring, performance measurement and having difficult conversations
