  • Knowledge of food and beverage service
  • Six to twelve months prior server and/or bartending experience
  • Point of sale computer operation systems
  • Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work
  • Positive attitude and neat appearance
  • Must speak and understand English
  • Attend all Food & Beverage Training class as well as venue training as directed
  • Ability to pass background/credit check
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and helpful manner are required
  • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work with co-workers, volunteers, and all levels of staff
  • Cash handling and credit card processing experience preferred
  • Requires ability to work flexible hours- may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Eligible to work in United States
  • Bending, stooping and lifting up to 40 lbs. Substantial standing and walking
Responsibilities
  • Promptly assist guests with ordering point of sale
  • Prompt and accurate delivery of food and beverage to guests
  • Anticipate guest needs and attend to guests appropriately
  • Assist in food, beverage, equipment, meeting supplies, china, glassware, and silverware
  • Inventories on a predetermined basis
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization and security of all work areas and rooms
  • Follow rules and regulations of Food & Beverage
  • Interact with guests and team members in a pleasant and professional manner
  • Catering responsibilities, as required, include preparation and breakdown of event, set-up, distribution of food, maintain guest contact, refill beverages, pick-up utensils, and dinnerware
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function
  • Position requires the ability to work at all ASM Global venues in Wichita and Andover
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager
