Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Eight or more years of site maintenance experience in a manufacturing operation, with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills ideal.
  • Five or more years of leadership and management of teams.
  • Experience in a manufacturing industry; continuous processing experience is ideal, including plastics, rubber, chemicals, or steel.
  • Experience overseeing robust preventative and predictive maintenance programs, standard operating procedure and standard work instruction development, Lean, and Maintenance Excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Manage equipment installations and new equipment commissioning.
  • Manage the preventative maintenance program with standardization and site critical spare parts management using an equipment condition assessment program.
  • Conduct equipment failure mode and effects analyses and root cause failure analysis investigations as required.
  • Implement and manage the site computerized maintenance management system aligned with company expectations.
  • Oversee and participate in daily maintenance functions, including project planning for materials, preventative maintenance, breakdowns, and repairs.
  • Coordinate all electrical, machining, and tooling requirements; develop and fabricate new equipment and tooling.
  • Maintain facility grounds, equipment, and tools.
  • Select and develop local vendors and relationships for third-party external support.
  • Partner with other plant departments to ensure priority is given to the safe and efficient operation of equipment and machinery.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, with engineering as a plus.
  • Continuous processing experience is ideal.
