- Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of IT development expertise using JAVA, COBRA, Informix, SQL
- Knowledge of Eclipse IDE, XML, REST, SOAP, JMS and MQ is required
- Design and develop software and system specifications including high level and detailed level designs for assigned project.
- Extensive experience in writing JAVA based code for Management Systems (EMS/NMS) with expertise in Informix or Oracle Database and writing SQL queries.
- Good communication skills, project management skills and able to form good relationship with the teams to understand requirements and jointly work on architecture and specification issues.
- Innovative and free thinking able to come up with new ideas and solutions to problems.
- Knowledge of in PON, BPON, and GPON technologies and TL1, SNMP, MPLS protocols is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of IP Networks and expertise with SDN/NFV technologies is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, JIRA, Stash, Git, Jenkins, Logstash and Selenium is preferred
