Requirements
  • BA/BS in Business Administration or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience with pricing system experience including complex knowledge and deep understanding of deal desk, pricing operations, etc.
  • Experience with GTM and finance systems.
  • Strong sense of urgency, ability to manage priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Strong ability to communicate with executive leadership, think on a strategic level, and communicate the strategy across the various product teams.
  • Highly organized and able to juggle many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, and project manage multiple concurrent projects with varying internal stakeholders and demands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in a global fragmented environment.
  • Exposure to common ERP & CRM systems; Preferred experience on Salesforce or Oracle.
  • Contracting processes, understanding of Channel Business Models (Direct/Partner) with a focus on Subscription and usage based pricing models.
  • Experience with business processes which drive End to End Quote or Order processes.
  • Experience with billing systems, Stripe preferred, operating in a high-growth SaaS model.
Responsibilities
  • Q2O Process Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact and partner for both business (Finance and Pricing) and IT Enterprise Applications (delivery) teams, focusing on Quote-to-Order processes.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with the business to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, objectives, outcomes, and end-user needs to align people, processes, and systems within the Q2O context.
  • Q2O Product Roadmap: Lead the vision and strategy for the Q2O product scrum team, working closely with product owners to develop a comprehensive roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Q2O Technology Strategy: Drive and influence the overall QTO IT roadmap (including CPQ), ensuring a strong focus on Q2O business performance, scalability, and risk mitigation.
  • Technical Knowledge Transfer: Provide knowledge transfers and vision to technical teams and TPMs, ensuring clear and concise Q2O requirements are understood for successful implementation and go-live.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Maintain regular communication with business stakeholders and IT delivery leads to ensure ongoing alignment on Q2O system roadmap placement and timelines.
  • Technology Market Analysis: Track the technology market, identifying and staying informed about emerging applications or new product capabilities that align with Cloudflare's Q2O technology stack.
  • Vendor Relationships: Lead and nurture relationships with platform vendors, influencing their roadmaps and sharing their capabilities with the business to support Q2O objectives.
  • Vendor Selection: Partner with Procurement to lead the vendor selection process for new Q2O technologies, including research, evaluation, demos, and presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • IT Governance: Adhere to and instill IT Planning and Governance structures, including running Q2O steering committee meetings, meeting with functional leaders, and ensuring alignment between business and IT teams.
  • Roadmap Management: Lead weekly roadmap meetings with delivery leads to collaborate on Q2O priorities, roadmap placement, risk management, and capacity issues.
