Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a compliance, auditing, or regulatory role, with a strong focus on Prevailing Wage, Davis-Bacon Act, and Local Content Compliance.
  • 2+ Years of document control and/or process auditing experience
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage compliance with prevailing wage laws and apprenticeship programs. Ensure proper documentation and reporting for all related activities.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, ensuring that wage rates and labor standards are upheld on relevant projects.
  • Ensure adherence to local and domestic content requirements for all projects, verifying that all regulations are followed and documented.
  • Implement and manage document control processes to ensure the accuracy, organization, and accessibility of compliance-related documents.
  • Conduct regular audits of internal processes to ensure adherence to compliance requirements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and audit compliance reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare detailed findings and recommendations based on audits.
  • Stay updated with changes in relevant regulations and ensure that the organization’s practices are aligned with current laws and standards.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams regarding compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Setting up and maintaining projects in the construction project management system
  • Creating and generating reports, analyzing data, identifying potential issues, and proposing solutions to Project Managers
  • Provide support to the construction management team, as needed
  • Promote good communication and coordination with other departments
  • Guide and support project management team members as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • 1+ Years of renewable energy experience
  • 1+ Years of construction experience
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, CISA)
  • In-depth understanding of federal, state, and local regulations related to prevailing wage, apprenticeship programs, Davis-Bacon Act, and local content requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in document control systems and auditing methodologies.
  • Excellent solution-seeking, teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions and follow tasks to completion with minimal direction
  • Experience with project coordination and management of projects with multiple levels of interface between vendors, internal staff, and other stakeholders preferred.
