Requirements
  • 2-4 years of retail management experience

  • Entry-level knowledge of cannabis products and related vocabulary is preferred
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed
  • Schedule is 40+ hours per week
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for a majority of their work schedule
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check with the local law enforcement or San Jose Police Department
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Some lifting, squatting, bending, pushing and pulling
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis without assistance
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, bend, lift, push, pull, talk and hear for extended periods of time
Responsibilities

  • Serve as a proactive role model, mentor, and coach for the team
  • Create, implement, and manage restock processes that include both sales floor and backstock organization, stock level maintenance, and FIFO best practices
  • Manage processes for product placement according to visual standards
  • Oversee all retail cash management processes including reconciliation, deposits, audits, and point of sale training
  • Identify and manage facilities/maintenance issues and follow up with the appropriate contacts and departments
  • Manage the supply ordering process and work with appropriate departments on purchase requisitions
  • Operate as an effective leader at all times and demonstrate strong sales floor presence
  • Inspire and influence: lead by example and drive positive results by building an excellent customer and team experience
  • Oversee the daily sales ledger, shift logs, and KPI tracking and reporting
  • Proactively meet established sales goals and other KPIs and hold the team accountable to drive positive results
  • Collaborate with the other store leaders to drive strategy and achieve goals
  • Participate in leadership meetings by presenting department updates, identifying opportunities, providing solutions, and offering feedback
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
  • Adhere to all city and state regulations
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
