Human Resource Generalist/ Office Manager/ South Portland, Maine

FieldStack is seeking a HR Generalist/Office Manager, to be based in their South Portland Office. This is a dual role involving full spectrum HR and office management responsibilities.

Requirements of the HR Generalist/Office Manager:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years HR Generalist experience, certification a plus – SHRM or other.
Experience with HRMA/HRIS systems
Proficiency with MS Suite
Knowledge and understanding of State and Federal employment regulations.
Awareness of OSHA regulations and compliance
Understanding personnel and compliance records management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Benefits of the Job:

Annual pay range, 60K + Depending on experience.
PTO accrue up to 23 days a year, includes: vacation, sick leave and personal days

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist/Office Manager:

Recruitment, employee on-boarding/off-boarding
Employee Relations: tracking employees’ corrective action, continuous improvement, complaints, unemployment
HR Policy Management
Benefit Administration
Payroll
Reporting – assist with data maintenance and integrity of the HIRS system.
Oversees and manages the smooth running of the office.
Perform general clerical duties, data entry, filing, organizing office records.
Assist with coordination of in-house or off-site activities, company events and meetings.
