Requirements
  • Understanding of security and risk, as well as a willingness to develop knowledge in these areas as appropriate whilst recognising future risks and strategically planning to mitigate them
  • Experience of engaging, advising and influencing at all levels of an organisation whilst projecting credibility and self-assurance
  • Strong understanding of security and risk mitigation concepts and language, and ability to distill into plain English
  • Ability to form excellent relationships within your team, people at different levels of an organisation, and with the wider security community
  • Managing a wide range of issues with diplomacy and discretion
  • Proactive and efficient with the ability to deliver at pace
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to travel >50%
Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day management of personnel and physical security programs within Palantir facilities
  • Proactively partnering with local stakeholders to facilitate important outcomes e.g. a safe and secure working environment, with consistent, high quality customer service to employees, customers and visitors
  • Building a trusting and safe environment with an emphasis on empathetic problem solving
  • Enabling GSS leadership and business teams by providing trusted professional resources and subject matter expertise in risk management, security, incident management, and emergency preparedness
  • Respond to, or direct, security vendors for safety and security incident response
  • Facilitate GSS reporting as it relates to personnel, facilities, and security programs
  • Focus on evaluating anomalies, or events, and respond in accordance with Palantir's policies and procedures
