Requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and consistency across the organization
- Strong understanding of the federal procurement process, including GSA schedules, SEWP contracts, and other government procurement vehicles
- Familiarity with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and experience selling to customers with FedRAMP requirements
- Understanding of federal compliance regulations, such as NIST, FISMA, and DFARS, and ability to navigate complex compliance requirements for government customers
- Experience selling to various government agencies, such as the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and other civilian agencies
- Knowledge of government-specific sales tactics, such as teaming arrangements, subcontracting, and bid protests
- Strong network of contacts within the federal government and government contracting industry
- Understanding of different types of security assessments, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and red team engagements (Preferred)
- 7+ years leadership / management experience
- Previous experience in startup/scale-up environment
- Experience developing and retaining high-performing sales teams
- Strategic and visionary skill set
Responsibilities
- Grow and develop a world-class Public Sector sales organization by identifying, training, and implementing best practices that improve the team's performance while maintaining culture and values
- Deliver financial results, set performance and goals, while effectively managing all aspects of the sales process
- Define and evangelize the market strategy and sales philosophy to grow Public Sectory business to 30% of our overall business
- Influence, collaborate and work with cross-functional leaders, departments; and teams to develop and execute successful strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local, regional and federal regulations
- Accelerate and manage relationships with Public Sector partners to efficiently create a channel ecosystem
- Support all company diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring a diverse workplace to mirror our global customers and communities
