Requirements
  • At least 5 years’ experience working with benefits either on a People team or with an insurance broker.
  • Hands-on experience with benefit plan designs and rewards programs.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with rigorous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong at driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Outstanding Excel skills for data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience handling sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits in the US.
  • Knowledge of Canadian benefits is a plus!
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, administer, and maintain employee benefit and reward programs.
  • Submit enrollment, qualifying events, and termination data to the Broker.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and cost-effectiveness of programs.
  • Develop benefits communications and provide support to employees on benefits-related issues.
  • Evaluate current offerings against competitors to ensure industry leadership.
  • Manage employee leaves and annual open enrollment.
  • Lead audits of benefit plans and manage vendor relationships.
  • Enhance wellness programs and administer compliance of plans.
  • Work with People and Payroll teams to administer benefit programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and maintain internal processes for benefits.
  • Gather employee data for timely processing of monthly billings and manage employee benefits profiles.
