Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Independently design, develop, and deploy clinical applications and technologies.
  • Define system solutions based on user and client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
  • Research, identify, select, and test technology products required for solution delivery.
  • Establish, implement, and document technology integration or migration strategies.
  • Engineer new workflows or optimize existing business processes using expert knowledge across multiple clinical applications and operational areas.
  • Lead high-complexity, high-impact application implementation and execution projects using project management methodologies and maintain project plans.
  • Function as an independent project lead or provide oversight for project managers and business analysts on assigned projects, while recognizing and minimizing lost business value during project or program execution.
  • Perform proactive analysis of current systems and technology to recommend changes or enhancements that support the organization's strategic vision and improve operational workflows and patient and end-user experience.
  • Identify product and customization requirements to address necessary product configuration within project scope and timeline.
  • Mentor senior analysts and maintain proficiency or certification in numerous applications.
  • Support the team in analyzing, resolving, and escalating complex integration problems encountered during system implementations and upgrades.
  • Implement projects that stay ahead of industry and peer trends, design new healthcare technology solutions, and remain at the forefront of healthcare technology.
  • Participate in new-hire orientation by providing clinical application support required for the role.
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership to develop or improve operational processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in clinical operations meetings to assess user feedback, gather future modification requirements, and provide status updates on competency, adoption, and utilization rates.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer of technology-enabled user workflows and best-practice application use.
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.
