Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support, preferably within engineering, procurement, and construction, construction, or renewable energy industries.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes, vendor management, and inventory coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning or procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Procore, or similar systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet customer, project site, and regulatory access requirements as applicable to the position.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to company insurance requirements.
  • Must successfully complete required motor vehicle record review, background screening, and employment verification processes, consistent with applicable laws.
  • Must comply with the company's drug-free workplace policy and legally permitted testing requirements.
  • Ability to work in indoor office and outdoor construction job-site environments, including variable weather, noise, potential chemical exposure, uneven or obstructed surfaces, elevations, and confined spaces.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate purchasing of materials, equipment, and services for project execution while ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with project budgets, scopes, and procurement policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, order confirmations, delivery schedules, and vendor communications.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors regarding pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Monitor supplier performance, identify potential issues, and assist in resolving delivery or quality discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to verify material receipts and usage for inventory tracking.
  • Work with the accounting department on invoicing, payment approvals, and cost tracking.
  • Provide administrative support to site and project management teams through document control, reporting, and correspondence.
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, procurement documentation, and project files in compliance with company standards.
  • Support scheduling, meeting coordination, and communication between departments and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with project reports, cost summaries, and procurement status updates.
  • Support onboarding and compliance tracking for site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and administrative resources for the project site or regional office.
  • Ensure procurement and administrative processes comply with company standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, logistics, and finance teams to align purchasing and administrative activities with project objectives.
  • Support internal audits and documentation reviews as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in engineering, procurement, and construction, construction, or renewable energy industries.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting and cost-control principles.
