Job Description Summary:
The University of Kansas, Department of Neurology, is seeking a general neurologist to join its dynamic team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care at our Olathe campus. Candidates fresh out of training as well as experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
In this role, candidates will diagnose, treat, and manage neurology patients in an ambulatory setting. Participation in on-call coverage required and shared among other neurologists. Candidates may be involved with clinical teaching and research if desired. Responsibilities also include duties assigned by the Department Chair or that are otherwise typically expected of a physician in the department.

Required Qualifications
Education: MD/DO.
This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position. The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements, institutional standards of academic and professional excellence, alignment with peer institution benchmarks, and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community.
Work Experience: Neurology residency training completed
License/ Certifications: Board-eligible or certified in Neurology
