Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Three years of providing academic support services to students
  • One year of experience leading or supervising professional staff
  • Education or work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education
Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership for the daily functions of the Accommodated Testing Office
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient, compliant, and student-centered testing services
  • Supervise daily testing operations, including staffing, scheduling, testing room assignments, and exam logistics
  • Maintain accurate testing records, including incident reports, reservation changes, and academic department/professor requests
  • Manage the test reservation system and logistics of test room reservations
  • Serve as a resource for students and faculty navigating complex testing concerns or academic integrity matters
  • Collaborate with Accessibility and Disability Service staff and campus partners to support testing accommodation implementation
  • Maintain sufficient testing resources (eg, seating, supplies, and assistive technology)
  • Foster relationships with departments, instructors, and campus partners
  • Recruit, interview, and supervise the Accommodated Testing Office staff
  • Hold regular weekly supervision meetings, conduct Performance Review Development evaluations, and manage time and leave approvals for supervisees
  • Coordinate regular biweekly team meetings
  • Oversee training and onboarding for all testing staff, including proctors and preppers
  • Primary in-house expert for database management system related to Accommodated Testing modules, providing troubleshooting and coordination as needed with system technical support
  • Track and report key data for internal planning and contribute to the Accommodated Testing sections of the ADS Annual Report
  • Use data to evaluate office effectiveness and guide continuous improvement
  • Design systems to collect and analyze testing data to inform strategic decision-making
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets and data tracking tools
  • Experience using database management software
  • An understanding of disability-related issues in higher education and a sensitivity to the needs of students who utilize accommodations
  • Previous exposure to standardized and/or accommodated testing environments
  • Experience coordinating events and managing staffing logistics
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes or challenges
  • Background in training, supervising and coordinating staff, students and volunteers
  • Ability to identify data needs, perform analyses and present findings using data visualizations (charts, graphs)
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and ADA compliance in academic settings
