  • Hold a high school diploma/GED (college degree strongly preferred)
  • Have at least 3+ years of related employee benefits experience within a brokerage environment
  • Life & Health license is preferred
  • Are computer literate - Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Are well-organized with excellent verbal and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative support for all departments such as, printing, filing, photocopying, data entry, scanning, binding and collating, downloading company reports, mail distribution and mail-outs.
  • Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents.
  • Orders, receives and maintains office supplies and proactively ensures office supplies are available when needed.
  • Operate office equipment, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
  • Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
  • Helps with data entry, reports, numbers, etc. as assigned.
  • Maintains accurate and organized account files by appropriately documenting conversations with clients and carrier representatives; updates all HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems; ensures the accuracy of data.
  • Responsible for service work as needed on a daily basis. Including but not limited to the following: certificates of insurance, policy changes and client payments.
  • Assist with marketing clients to carriers.
  • Accesses carrier websites, pull documents and distributes to service staff for processing.
  • Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail, including scanning and coding/indexing when necessary.
  • Process outgoing mail as needed.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
