Requirements
  • University or college diploma in relevant technical field such as architectural, civil, mechanical electrical engineering, building science or building engineering
  • Valid drivers’ license with ability to travel 50-70%
  • English is required because you will be dealing with English-speaking customers as part of your job
  • Proficient with MS Excel and ability to learn other applications quickly
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Detailed-oriented
Responsibilities
  • Completes site visits at client real estate locations and performs building component identification and condition evaluation
  • Completes reporting using BGIS software for use in RealAsset – our BGIS developed Asset Management software
  • Provides recommendations and cost estimates for building envelopes, components and systems repair or replacement for inclusion in the capital budget plan
  • Other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Enrolled as EIT, P. Eng, C.Tech or RET an asset
  • 1-3 Years of relevant work experience would be an asset
  • General knowledge of ASTM Practice E2018-15 “Standard Guide for Property Condition Assessments: Baseline Property Condition Assessment Process” would be an asset
