Requirements
  • 1-2 years of hands on professional experience in a corporate environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (i.e. vlookup, pivot table, etc.)
  • Ability to investigate complex revenue questions independently and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Ability to process high volumes of transactions with attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities
  • Analyze contracts with customers to ensure proper NetSuite customer billing setup and identify pertinent information to account for revenue transactions consistent with the Company's existing revenue recognition policy and US GAAP, ensuring accurate and timely processing and review based on month-end close and other internal deadlines
  • Process transactions related to new contract setup, contract amendments, terminations, and credit memos in NetSuite, ensuring timely processing based internal deadlines
  • Investigate and resolve invoicing issues and billing questions directly with customers and collaborating with internal stakeholders as appropriate (account management, legal, sales, accounts receivable, etc)
  • Participate in the month-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries related to revenue, account reconciliations and schedules
  • Prepare non-standard and complex revenue transactions and make recommendations to management
  • Complete ad hoc reporting and additional project requests as assigned by managers
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience using NetSuite and Salesforce
  • Previous transaction processing or revenue accounting experience
  • Understanding and working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced software/technology company
