- Support estimate and proposal preparation by performing quantity takeoffs, requesting subcontractor and vendor quotes, and comparatively analyzing received quotes.
- Assist with writing technical approaches and scopes of work for proposals.
- Support project managers with project planning and scheduling, including preparing preconstruction submittals, purchase orders, and task orders.
- Create, organize, and maintain field paperwork for ongoing projects.
- Coordinate material and equipment deliveries for ongoing projects.
- Prepare and update construction schedules using critical path method tools such as Microsoft Project.
- Support project managers with cost tracking to monitor budgets for ongoing projects and assist with change-order preparation as needed.
- Perform stormwater compliance inspections, soil sampling, water sampling, or air monitoring using independent judgment as needed.
- Ensure field procedures and safety protocols are followed to meet company- and client-specific requirements and deadlines.
- Measure and document quantities of work completed each day.
- Assist with project control, surveying, and layout.
- Attend safety meetings and support recognition of positive safety habits and practices on the job site.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and compliant job site.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of client and regulatory requirements and ensure compliance on assigned projects.
- Travel out of town for several weeks at a time, potentially for several months per project.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu is preferred.
- HAZWOPER 40-hour training is preferred but not required.
