Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience analyzing component- and system-level engine data for failure trends
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing predictive maintenance strategies using statistical methods and reliability data
  • Experience in reliability tools and software, such as Weibull analyses, FMECA, or MATLAB
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and system engineering practices
  • Ability to think, plan, and work at both tactical and strategic levels independently
  • Ability to lead a small team of engineers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Responsibilities
  • Perform root cause analyses of engine failures and recommend corrective actions
  • Monitor and analyze engine performance data to identify reliability trends
  • Track reliability metrics and prepare comprehensive technical reports and briefings
  • Forecast engine module and component demand
  • Share expertise through leadership and mentoring
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with model-based system engineering
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Experience with project management
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering a plus
