Requirements
- 1+ years of work experience with testing and inspection of electrical or mechanical assemblies
- Basic lab skills
- Experience with lab test instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, DC loads, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, thermal imagers) and assembly tools for surface mount and through hole technology (soldering station, hot air rework, solder paste, hand assembly)
- Understanding of using measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.
- Be able to read and understand the assembly drawings, test plans, and other technical documents
Responsibilities
- Execute benchtop and integrated tests on hardware subsystems
- Log test result data and observations
- Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment
- Support engineering with building test stations
- Support engineering with generating test reports
- Review test reports and give feedback based on test experience
- Review and update assembly work instructions
- Support engineering with reviewing and updating test plans
