Responsibilities
  • Develop, administer, and oversee Regional Assisted Living Residence Ombudsman services.
  • Promote the philosophy of advocating for and maintaining assisted living residents' rights.
  • Work closely with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services State Ombudsman Unit.
  • Ensure that requirements are fulfilled under the federal Older Americans Act, statewide long-term care Ombudsman regulations and policies, and the host agency designation agreement.
Desired Qualifications
  • Three to five years of experience working with older adults and/or the disability population.
  • Experience in a supervisory role or demonstrated leadership experience.
  • A degree in social work or a related field.
