  • THE ROLE: The Electrical Equipment Technician will support the repair and sale of Flygt electric submersible equipment by providing application, installation, troubleshooting and repair services for all monitoring and control products within the organization
  • CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Troubleshoot and make electrical repairs to electrical equipment including: motor starter panels
  • Use a multimeter to diagnose problems with low voltage DC signal wiring
  • Provide field support over the phone
  • Read electric control wiring diagrams to build and troubleshoot systems
  • Drive to and from customer locations in company provided service trucks to perform preventative maintenance and service with minimal direction on electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and pump problems
  • Create an accurate and legible parts and repair list for equipment
  • Assist with system setup on customer job sites as needed
  • Ability to communicate via email, effectively use online applications to create pump repair estimates
  • Operate a service truck and respond to after-hours customer repair calls as needed
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
