Requirements
- Knowledge of Operational Excellence principles and Lean6sigma practices and how they can be applied to improve operational efficiency
- In depth knowledge of data and analytics and how they can be used to develop operational performance. KPIs, reporting, dashboard management, data assurance, control window management & governance
- Experience in working with large customer facing Operational teams, leading development, and improvement programs
- Worked with Operational centres doing back off functions (Capacity planning, demand forecasting, scheduling, resourcing) and how they can be developed to improve front line effectiveness
- Experience of working with functional leaders to deliver cost, customer, people and performance change programs
- Business Understanding: Comprehends the business environment and interrelationships between business functions and processes
- Awareness of financial issues and accountabilities of business processes and customer priorities and of the necessity for cost/benefit calculations
- Communication, Persuasion & Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates commercial focus and acumen, using identified outcomes and appropriate critical success measures / benefits targets to shape project activity
- Strong and influential collaborator with great interpersonal skills. Builds trusted and effective working relationships at all levels with stakeholders, suppliers, colleagues and particularly with Sponsors and Senior Stakeholders

Responsibilities
- Work with functional leaders to drive Operational Excellence across Operations, using lean6Sigma methodologies. Build a culture of continuous improvement, process improvement, waste reduction and act as lead on setting up lean improvement projects. Lead on value stream mapping exercises to drive efficiency & customer experience
- Determine governance and cadence of reporting in Operations to drive the most effective structure
- Management of all performance data and dashboards in Operations - performance improvement management and delivery. Work with Data business partner on plan to us BI to drive performance improvements across Ops teams. Prepare high level performance reports & analysis on key areas of focus. Work with functional leaders on improvement plans
- Full overview of resourcing in Operations, able to review capacity, optimize human capital and drive productivity in Operations
- Leading Scheduling Optimization by looking at a project to define how we should schedule resources across all functional teams and potentially running a cross functional resource scheduling team in future
- Define what data assurance means for Operations and lead quality improvement initiatives across Operations functions
- Work directly with Sales Engineering on all pipeline and process improvements - front end SPOC in Operations
- Lead digital transformation (RPA, AI, ML, tooling etc) - tying in with resourcing and scheduling to drive efficient use of resources. Work with product owners to drive forward with the prioritized developments (in-house and outsourced) to deliver highest business benefits
- Improving Operations enterprise risk management, business continuity, audit compliance and mitigation planning
