Our team solves complex challenges by combining creative technology design with fast iteration. You will be working with a small, collaborative and highly capable team on cars, robots and intelligent batteries. If the technology doesn’t exist, we’re not afraid to dream it and then build it, while always keeping in mind it must be designed for reliability, affordability and easy deployment.
As a Program Manager Intern on the Ample team, you will be supporting the management of our production across all of our product lines. You will be working in a cross functional environment with efforts touching teams across the entire company. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on Ample’s internally developed battery system, electric vehicle integration systems, and our battery swapping stations.
What You’ll Do:
- Support Program Management team in development and implementation of processes for production scaling.
- Own and execute operations improvement projects with stakeholders across the entire organization
- Perform data collection and analysis across multiple functional areas and product lines to enable process improvement
- Coordinate complex handoffs and operations across multiple teams, dealing with high impact hardware and timelines
- Planning of material and administrative work to ensure continuous production.
What You’ll Bring:
- Currently an undergraduate or graduate student in business, engineering, or related field.
- Experience with project/program management at any level.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Google Office suite and ability to navigate new software applications
- Eager learner and self starter who is always looking for places to make an impact
