Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or equivalent combination of certifications in life sciences, engineering, or physical sciences is required.
  • More than 6 years of related experience in quality management, ideally in supplier quality or supplier management, is required.
  • Experience analyzing, evaluating, and reporting on key performance indicators is required.
  • Practical experience applying quality methodologies such as 8D, root cause analysis, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis is required.
  • Proficiency using data analysis tools such as Excel, SAP, and business intelligence tools to create reports and dashboards is required.
  • Experience preparing and presenting management reports, including Monthly Management Reviews, is required.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and tools such as Trackwise or comparable systems is required.
  • Analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work are required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to assert oneself are required.
  • A high degree of personal responsibility and organizational skills is required.
  • Ability to work in a team and intercultural competence are required.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements is required.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards is required.
  • Confident use of SAP, particularly in quality management and master data maintenance, is required.
  • Experience with Trackwise or similar electronic systems is required.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Microsoft Excel for reporting and KPI tracking, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze, monitor, and report on Supplier Quality Management activities and resources for the EMEA and US regions.
  • Analyze, monitor, and report quality-related key performance indicators in supplier management.
  • Analyze and interpret key performance indicators.
  • Prepare and present monthly quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create ad hoc reports in supplier management.
  • Support and prepare for the Monthly Management Review by providing relevant data and analyses.
  • Maintain and update quality data in systems such as Trackwise, including supplier data, certificates, and material data.
  • Identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities in supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and suppliers to ensure compliance with FME quality standards.
  • Support audits, reviews, and continuous improvement reporting processes.
  • Pre-assess and support the investigation of complex data-related issues and synthesize quantitative and qualitative information using past, current, and future trending information.
  • Initiate and support the analysis and investigation of quality issues.
  • Assist with projects assigned by a direct supervisor.
  • Support corrective and preventive action processing through data analysis and reports.
Desired Qualifications
  • A degree in engineering, quality management, or a comparable field is preferred.
  • Experience in identifying and implementing improvement measures, with Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma as an advantage.
  • Knowledge of dialysis machines and components or disposables is preferred.
  • Deep technical knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, electronics, or chemicals is preferred.
  • Knowledge of QMSR/21 CFR 820 is preferable.
  • Knowledge of regional regulations applicable to medical products, with device and drug knowledge preferred.
  • English and German language skills are preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools is an advantage.
