- Working knowledge of government contractor accounting/finance activities.
- Experience working in systems, working knowledge of accounting systems and the interrelationships of the General Ledger with sub-ledgers and other modules, including job cost, fixed assets and accounts payable.
- Experienced with journal entries, account analysis and resolving inaccuracies and issues.
- Work with varying levels of employees, both inside and outside the accounting department.
- BS/BA degree in Business, Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years total related work experience.

- Good organization, communication, analytical, problem-solving, leadership and customer service skills are required.
- Advanced MS Excel (reference formulas and pivot tables), Office, Outlook, Word.
- Support accounting requirements under GAAP SOX and all other authoritative guidance published by FASB, AICPA, SEC and the PCAOB.
- Provide hands-on knowledge and support for projects – perform reconcilements, resolve issues, execute corrections/adjustments.
- Process and review journal entries and conduct account analyses to resolve inaccuracies and issues.
- Work with the General Ledger, sub-ledgers and other modules including job cost, fixed assets and accounts payable to ensure correct interrelationships and data integrity.
- JAMIS, Infinium and PeopleSoft Accounting Software
- Business Objects, Showcase or other data mining applications
