Industry experience working with large-scale databases using SQL (data query, data cleaning, data transformation)
Experience working with a large healthcare database (preferably administrative claims or EHR)
You are customer-oriented. You understand the customer needs and are able to scope solutions to meet their needs and communicate in both a technical and non-technical manner
You are a problem solver: You demonstrate strong logical thinking and an ability to see patterns
You have a proficiency in quantitative reasoning: You understand the basics of data science and classical statistics and can use that knowledge to scope out a client solution
You are able to support a wide variety of internal team members
Hands-on experience in business analytics in biopharma, including experience working with sales, marketing, market access, and other HCP, provider, payer, and patient-level data
Advanced storytelling, communication, and interpersonal skills, and experience owning high-profile customer relationships
Successful track record of developing business relationships with Life Science customers
Ability to successfully manage multiple customer relationships and projects with high quality and grace under pressure

Responsibilities

Create exceptional analysis for high value customers that highlight the value of Komodo's Healthcare map
Problem solve with clients to understand how best to address their needs using Komodo's Healthcare map including claims, EHR and genomics data
Explain the third party payment system in the United States and how this system affects the claims data to commercial analytics team

The Opportunity at Komodo Health

This role is critical to providing healthcare and data expertise to current and potential customers including designing custom analysis to wow our clients utilizing Komodo’s Healthcare map.

Compensation at Komodo Health

We are committed to providing competitive compensation for all roles at Komodo Health. We carefully consider multiple factors when determining compensation, including your skills, experience, and location while balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. The targeted base salary range for the ’Director, Commercial Data Insights’ role is $140,400 to $233,900 plus a competitive bonus and equity package.

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
