Responsibilities
- Design and develop power distribution systems, high-voltage/low-voltage networks, and electrical schematics
- Perform load flow, short-circuit, and reliability studies using simulation tools (e.g., ETAP, PSCAD, or MATLAB)
- Integrate renewable energy sources (solar, wind, etc.) into power grids or microgrids
- Collaborate on energy storage and power management solutions
- Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to meet project goals
- Ensure designs meet relevant codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NFPA)
- Develop technical documentation, reports, and compliance certifications
- Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies to improve system performance and efficiency
- Participate in research and development activities, including feasibility studies and prototyping
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff
- Conduct technical training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities
