Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Five to eight or more years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with medium- and low-voltage power systems, including 4160V and 480V systems, instrumentation and controls, or programmable logic controller panel design.
- Experience preparing or reviewing equipment submittals.
- Strong technical problem-solving ability.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Comfort working between office and field environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support electrical designs for industrial projects.
- Prepare and review equipment submittals, including medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage motor control centers, motors, and associated equipment.
- Design and support systems involving 4160V and 480V power distribution, instrumentation and controls systems, and programmable logic controller panel design and layout.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and field teams to ensure successful execution.
- Provide engineering support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Assist with troubleshooting, field walkdowns, and system verification.
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Support documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer license or willingness to pursue licensure.
- Experience in oil and gas, energy, or industrial projects.
- Field experience or exposure to construction environments.
