Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Five to eight or more years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with medium- and low-voltage power systems, including 4160V and 480V systems, instrumentation and controls, or programmable logic controller panel design.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing equipment submittals.
  • Strong technical problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Comfort working between office and field environments.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and support electrical designs for industrial projects.
  • Prepare and review equipment submittals, including medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage motor control centers, motors, and associated equipment.
  • Design and support systems involving 4160V and 480V power distribution, instrumentation and controls systems, and programmable logic controller panel design and layout.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and field teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Provide engineering support during construction and commissioning phases.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, field walkdowns, and system verification.
  • Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Support documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer license or willingness to pursue licensure.
  • Experience in oil and gas, energy, or industrial projects.
  • Field experience or exposure to construction environments.
