UX Designer

 

Visionist has an exciting new upcoming opportunity for a UX Designer on our PRIME contract. You will be joining an exciting mission centered around providing visualization and presentation services for the prototyping, development, and production of analytic tools. The team focuses on providing user experience, systems engineering, and graphic design support to an entire software development portfolio. You will have the chance to participate in Neilson Norman Group Trainings, as well as 508 training, to develop and advance your skills. Your contributions are… 
  - Collaborate with developers, managers, and engineers to solve UX challenges for mission technologies
  - Research user workflows and translate findings into modern, intuitive designs
  - Create front-end mockups and prototypes with tools like Axure, PenPot, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
  - Engage directly with users to capture feedback and improve usability
  - Design user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets
  - Enhance the user experience across multiple applications through interactive and visual design best practices

 

Requirements for your new career…
  - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 5 years of experience may substitute degree)
  - 7 years of experience in UX design
  - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear visuals
  - Hands-on experience with UX design, prototyping, and user-focused workflows
  - Analyst, End User, or mission SME experience highly desired

Salary range: $115,000 - $180,000
