Commercial Manager DACH

Join us as Commercial Manager for Akasison in the DACH region, where you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful and profitable delivery of projects.

In this role, you’ll lead a team of 7 experienced Project Managers, guiding them to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique technical challenges of our clients. Your deep understanding of customer needs and your ability to translate them into impactful commercial strategies will be key to your success.

Job description 

The role is to be based in Germany (flexible location) and will report to our site in Panningen, The Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers, identifying their individual needs
• Manage the entire customer portfolio, including offers, contract negotiations, and ensuring high quality on-time delivery for
• leading players in the construction and real estate sector
• Work closely with internal project teams to implement customer-specific solutions while adhering to budget, timelines, and
• quality standards
• Identify market potential and develop new business opportunities within the building solutions segment
• Utilize and maintain the CRM system to support data analysis, reporting, and optimization of sales processes
• Provide leadership and coaching to team members to support ongoing development and goal achievement

Requirements

• University degree or technical/commercial experience with relevant additional qualifications
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
• Senior professional experience in technical sales, ideally in the construction sector
• Proven experience in team leading
• Strong market and customer orientation with solid experience in key account management and proven track record in building up new customers
• Fluent in English & German
