- At least 15 years of overall experience in information technology service management, information technology operations, or enterprise monitoring.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow information technology operations management or technology service operations management platform, with deep focus on technology service operations management.
- Strong expertise in information technology operations management Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Operational Intelligence, and configuration management database architecture and data modeling.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, JavaScript, and Glide application programming interfaces.
- Strong understanding of information technology service management, information technology operations management, and information technology operations processes.
- Strong understanding of enterprise monitoring and observability architectures, hybrid infrastructure, cloud, containers, and microservices.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with leading monitoring tools.
- Proven experience as an architect or lead consultant on large-scale ServiceNow programs.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and network, server, storage, and cloud technologies.
- Strong documentation and design skills, including high-level designs, low-level designs, and architecture diagrams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- ITIL version 3 or ITIL version 4 certification.
- Define end-to-end ServiceNow technology service operations management architecture aligned with enterprise information technology operations strategy.
- Design scalable and resilient solutions leveraging information technology operations management Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Operational Intelligence, Cloud Observability, and AIOps capabilities.
- Drive architectural decisions for hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-premises environments.
- Lead and oversee implementation of technology service operations management solutions across large enterprise landscapes.
- Define integration patterns with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Azure Monitor, and AWS CloudWatch; configuration management database data sources; and third-party observability platforms.
- Ensure configuration management database health, governance, and data accuracy using Discovery and Service Mapping.
- Act as the technical authority for technology service operations management solutions and best practices.
- Review and approve technical designs, configurations, and customizations.
- Mentor developers, administrators, and consultants on technology service operations management architecture and standards.
- Conduct technical workshops and design sessions with stakeholders.
- Design and implement AIOps-driven event correlation and noise reduction.
- Enable proactive operations through anomaly detection and predictive insights.
- Optimize operational workflows using event rules, alerts, and automations.
- Define technology service operations management governance, standards, and architectural guardrails.
- Drive performance optimization, stability, and scalability of the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices and upgrade strategies.
- Partner with information technology leadership, operations teams, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, estimations, and proposals.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM certification is highly preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect certification is preferred.
- Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform are preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow Cloud Observability.
- Exposure to DevOps and site reliability engineering practices.
- Experience in large transformation or configuration management database remediation programs.
- Pre-sales and proposal solutioning experience.
