- A current, active, and good-standing Registered Nurse license is required.
- Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is required.
- Current immunizations, including tuberculosis, measles-mumps-rubella, tetanus, and varicella, are required.
- At least one year of experience is required.
- Provide quality care to Labor and Delivery patients as part of the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other nurses to assess mothers and babies during the perinatal period and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform nursing duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and facility policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, team members, and other healthcare professionals for Labor and Delivery patients.
