A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Team Leadership: build and lead a team of exceptional engineers adept at building distributed micro services
• Ability to attract and hire top-notch Engineering talent for the organisation
• Help implement effective engineering processes and champion their adoption.
• Provide guidance and enables managers / supervisors to manage day-to-day tasks
• Manage up to 15 reports across multiple small teams
• Technical Vision: evaluate architecture choices on an ongoing basis, in anticipation of increased scale and ever-evolving technology to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business.
• Leverage technical skills to successfully drive infrastructure & tool improvements for new products and existing processes and workflows
• Product Leadership: define and execute the road map by collaborating with partners in Product, Design and Operations.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• B. Tech with 7-10 years of experience in the software industry.
• You have experience building and leading a team of exceptional engineers that deliver high-impact results.
• You have good ideas and can inspire the team to come up with better ideas.
• You can work through ambiguous requirements and make decisions to push forward.
• You have passion for building highly scalable solutions with flexibility factored in to make quick pivots as business evolves.
• You have a good grasp of technologies such as Java/Go and distributed/cloud development.
• You demonstrate excellent communication skills, both within the team, and across the organization.
• Experience managing teams in fast-paced environments, coupled with hands-on technical knowledge that enables you to provide insightful technical direction while staying connected to the code.
