- Lead and manage multiple tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
- Review and approve federal, state, and local tax returns prepared by staff and senior accountants.
- Conduct tax research and planning for clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiency.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client communications related to tax matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Assist with IRS and state tax authority audits, including strategy, documentation, and correspondence.
- Supervise, mentor, and train staff accountants and senior tax professionals.
- Assist in business development efforts, including client proposals, presentations, and relationship building.
- Collaborate with other departments and service lines to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
