Requirements
  • High School or GED and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in conducting industrial hygiene sampling and reporting or related experience in environmental, health, and safety
  • Ability to perform exposure monitoring related to chemical, physical, and biological hazard
  • Demonstrates outstanding organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Responsibilities
  • Develops sampling strategies using Similar Exposure Groups (SEGs), Qualitative Exposure Assessments (QEAs), and field data analysis with moderate supervision
  • Performs hazard evaluations for PPE, noise, asbestos/Lead-Based Paint (LBP)/Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB), biological risks, and ergonomics
  • Creates trend, survey, and sampling reports for corporate industrial hygienist reviews and approvals
  • Collects industrial hygiene data and manages the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) system
  • Prepares industrial hygiene reports and supports injury/illness investigations
  • Analyzes sampling results, recommends corrective actions, and develops strategies
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, safety and health or related field
  • Preferred: Knowledge in developing appropriate industrial hygiene sampling strategies
  • Preferred: Knowledge of industrial hygiene best practices
