Requirements
- A 2–3 year college diploma in business or a related field is required.
- One to two years of clinic experience is required.
- The ability to handle confidential information in compliance with the Health Information Act guidelines is required.
- Strong communication, time management, detail orientation, problem-solving, adaptability, and flexibility are required.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Clinic Manager with achieving performance goals, including patient retention, patient satisfaction, patient count, controllable expenses, operational targets, and patient, physician, and staff engagement.
- Ensure that company policies, processes, and procedures are followed.
- Assist in maintaining optimal levels of medical and office supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- Handle patient concerns effectively in accordance with customer service standards.
- Create a customer service culture that supports patients and physicians.
- Assist the Clinic Manager in communicating and executing strategic initiatives affecting clinic operations.
- Exemplify the organization's core values and ensure staff understand and perform to the organization's core purpose and values.
- Assist in completing operational reporting and metrics.
- Support and execute business development programs and initiatives.
- Protect and safeguard Med Access according to organizational policy.
- Manage clinic staffing levels in accordance with the staffing model.
- Assist the Clinic Manager with performance management, performance reviews, and progressive discipline as required.
- Participate in hiring staff as required.
- Ensure staff are properly trained and provide ongoing coaching as required.
- Actively participate in and lead company initiatives.
- Train new physicians on the electronic medical record system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
