Requirements
  • Experience facilitating educational, recreational, cultural, wellness, or outdoor programs.
  • Strong public speaking, storytelling, and group facilitation skills.
  • Ability to confidently lead small groups in both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Knowledge of or interest in history, culture, art, nature, wellness, or environmental education.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare materials, equipment, and activity spaces for scheduled programs.
  • Ensure experiences begin and conclude on schedule.
  • Maintain activity supplies and ensure spaces remain organized and welcoming.
  • Assist in developing new experiences that align with the resort's mission and guest interests.
  • Promote safe participation in all activities.
  • Follow established safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
  • Practice and model responsible stewardship of natural and cultural resources.
  • Ensure outdoor activities are conducted with appropriate risk awareness and guest support.
  • Design and facilitate engaging small-group experiences connecting guests to the resort's natural environment, art and architecture, history, culinary and wellness offerings.
  • Serve as a guide, storyteller, and facilitator through thoughtful programming, meaningful conversation, and hands-on exploration.
Desired Qualifications
  • Background in environmental education, recreation, hospitality, interpretation, anthropology, history, art education, wellness, or related fields.
  • Experience as a museum educator, interpretive guide, naturalist, retreat facilitator, outdoor educator, wellness practitioner, or cultural ambassador.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Familiarity with local history, ecology, cultural heritage, or artistic traditions.
