Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 0 years of experience with Master's degree
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
  • 2 years Systems Engineering experience
  • 2 years of DOORS, Cameo or related experience
Responsibilities
  • Be proficient in the development of key system engineering artifacts such as requirement specifications and interface definition documents
  • Participate in technical planning, verification and validation development, and requirements analyses for integrated systems
  • Responsible for supporting the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions as well as the translation of customer requirements into electrical design specifications
  • May perform research, evaluation, and systems integration in electrical or electro-mechanical systems, cables, connectors, circuit card assemblies, power systems, computer systems, test equipment, and more
  • May apply research to the planning, design, development, simulation and testing of electrical systems for use in military applications
  • Support analysis at all levels of total weapon system product lifecycle to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation and maintenance
  • Perform system modeling and simulation efforts and related design tasking to include technical whitepapers, presentations, stakeholder demos, etc.
  • Support consistent design and testing processes across the weapon system
  • Ability to organize and prioritize job assignments and tasks
  • Possess interpersonal skills to work effectively to understand system level interdependencies that impact electrical requirements and design constraints
  • Demonstrate leadership principles – Integrity, respect, organizational, communication etc.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Past/Active employment with MMIII or Sentinel Weapon Systems
  • Experience contributing towards various phases of a program lifecycle
  • Experience contributing towards various phases of the Systems Engineering “V” lifecycle
  • Experience with networking and system architecture and developing architectural diagrams utilizing MBSE tools
  • Experience with schematic design tools (e.g. Mentor Graphics, Zuken, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable of ICBM Weapon System
  • Experience using CAD design tools (i.e. NX, Teamcenter, CATIA, Capital, etc.)
  • Direct development experience of interface products (IRS, IDD, ICD) and requirement specifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and Systems Thinking mindset
  • Excellent decision making and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Experience performing electrical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis (RCA), failure modes analysis (FMA), or similar
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
