Logistics Specialist

Amentum is now hiring for a Logistics Specialist (Intermediate) position in support of Program Director Sensor – Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide U.S. Army, U.S. Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment PD SAI core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of PD SAI and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within PD SAI.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product.
• Develop and implement logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; resolves logistics problems; and compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.
• Assist in the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) planning and implementation to include maintenance plan, supply support, support and test equipment, transportation and handling, technical data, training, logistic resource funding.
• Prepare logistics input for operational requirements documents, performance specifications, life-cycle support estimates, and other program documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of five (5) years experience in Integrated Logistic Support and System Life Cycle Support areas of DOD application. This shall include experience in maintenance planning, supply support, technical logistical data, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation.
• Three (3) year military service can be substituted/utilized as related experience.
• Must have an active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
